Homemade Lip Scrub

My lips have been getting horribly chapped and rough this winter. I didn't want to pay outrageous prices when I knew I could make my own lip scrub with products from home. I wanted to share these recipes with you. I put the scrub on right before bed and rinse. My lips feel softer every time!

Sugar Lip Scrub

Mix a small amount of coarse sugar with a few drops of water.
Apply the mixture onto lips and gently rub it in. Wash with lukewarm water and apply olive oil or vaseline to moisturize them.

Honey Lip Scrub:
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • a few drops of olive oil
Mix honey and baking soda together until you get a paste. Put the paste on your lips and gently scrub them. Wipe them off and you will have smooth, kissable lips! :)

  1. Okay I came across your blog today because I was trying to find out how to make a tutu. I love that tutorial and the hair accessory one too. The most ironic thing is my name is Sarah and my daughter is Camryn. How ironic. Thanks for all the tutorials, I will definitely be making fun stuff for me and Camryn.
